Jessie J's Hair at T in the Park 2012

Jessie J’s hair was worn long for her performance at T in the Park over the weekend and we have to say, we’re loving the look!

We’re BIG fans of the lovely Jessie J and her lovely locks so it was great to see her performing at T in the Park on the weekend. The star wore a night-sky themed crop top with bleached jeans … it was an unusual outfit choice, that’s for sure, but being Jessie J (with her quirky style), she was of course able to pull it off. :)

Jessie J’s hair was styled into long waves with lots of volume and root lift and an on-trend side parting; it was the perfect festival hairstyle. We do love it when Jessie wears her hair longer. :) If you want to add some length, like Jessie J’s hair had at T in the Park, then a full head of hair extensions in 16-18” would be perfect. Don’t forget your root lift and your bold curls too!

Another star who caught our eye was Cher Lloyd. Cher performed in a black dress with a cutesy red heart on the front and gold boots; Cher Lloyd’s hair, which is currently dyed a warm red/brown shade, was styled with voluminous curls and her bobbed hair was pulled back and pinned at the back. This style looked pretty cool on the singer, but we have to say, we do miss Chery Lloyd’s hair being long and luscious so we’re hoping she might turn to hair extensions next time we see her. :)

Mila Kunis' Hair Elle Magazine

We have always loved Mila Kunis’ hair here at HeadKandy; whether it’s styled for the red carpet, worn loose or tied back for an everyday look, her hair always looks healthy, glossy, and perfectly styled.

Mila recently did a photo-shoot and cover shots for Elle magazine in the UK where she returned to the vintage styling that started off her acting career. Mila Kunis’ hair, along with her clothes and make-up, was styled to have a very sixties feel; it was very Bardot!

Katy Perry's Hair - Part of Me 3D Film

Katy Perry’s hair looked magnificent as she attended a couple of film premieres for her new film ‘Katy Perry Part of Me 3D’ in Australia and LA. Which we must admit, is getting us a little excited for the film to hit the cinemas on July 5th.

The ‘Katy Perry Part of Me 3D’ film gives an intimate insight into the diary of Katy’s recent tour and offers viewers a backstage pass and a front row seat into the fun, glamorous, crazy, inspiring, magical, and sometimes, heartbreaking world of Katy Perry. The film has been hotly anticipated by fans all over the world and we have to say, we’re kind of itching to see it too!!

Katy Perry looked super stunning as usual as she glided down her "pink carpet” at her film premiere in Australia, wearing a dazzling gold dress she looked every inch the Hollywood starlet with her matching gold Christian Louboutins. However, it was Katy Perry’s hair that topped off her glamorous look, styled into 50’s inspired gatsby waves and kept to one side her hair oozed elegance which complimented her outfit perfectly!

Katy Perry’s hair looked incredibly healthy and glossy at her Australian film premiere; we’re loving the deep shade of purple she has been recently sporting too! We wonder what little secret tips she has up her sleeve for her hair, maybe we’ll see from the film!? Ohh we hope so! ♥

On the LA pink carpet, Katy wore an extravagant and eye-catching dress for the evening. The dress was a red velvet ballerina style dress which poofed out much more than usual, the dress was almost doll-like. Katy obviously managed to pull it off and as we’re a little used to her quirky and fun style, we didn’t expect anything less. Katy Perry’s hair was styled with more va-va voom at the LA film premiere, whilst still keeping inspiration from the 50’s era with her fringe flicked over and a deep side parting. Katy Perry’s hair was styled into loose medium-sized curls and back combed for extra oomph! If you’re looking to create any of these styles, add in some clip in hair extensions so you have more hair to play with ... plus, creating extra oomph will be much easier! Then arm yourself with some medium barrelled tongs or hair straighteners and curl away until you are left with the look you desire! And ta-daaah, Katy Perry hair is on your head ♥♥

Another thing which we are just LOVING are the promotional shots from the film. Katy Perry’s hair appears a little longer in some of the pics so there’s a little hint that she may have had a helping hand from some hair extensions to achieve the luscious length. Katy Perry’s hair appears two toned in her promo pics too (loving x  a million), with the top and roots of her hair appearing a bright dark blue and the mid-lengths and ends of her hair appearing a deep shade of purple, which she was seen sporting as a block shade at her film premieres! If only we were all so gutsy with the shade of our hair, props to Katy for being so brave.

Celebrity Hairstyles at T4 on the Beach 2012

T4 on the Beach meant we had pleeeenty of celebrity hairstyles to keep an eye out for while the singers strutted their stuff on the stage in Western-Super-Mare. Here’s the lowdown of the looks from the weekend.

Tulisa’s hair looked super sleek for her appearance on T4 on the Beach on the weekend; her usually glam look was toned down, but she still looked faaabulous as she got her pins out in a pair of  denim shorts with black and red high-tops! She wore her denim shorts with a zip-up top and a leather waistcoat. Tulisa’s hair was worn super straight and had the most gorgeous sheen! We’re a little jel!! Her hair was looking gorgeously long too and was styled with a side parting and her fringe swept to the side … loving this look Tulisa! Her hair was casually styled into a side ponytail for her performance on stage … it was simple, but still looked great. :) A 20-22” full head of hair extensions in Organic would be the best option for re-creating Tulisa’s beach look!

Alexandra Burke’s celebrity hairstyle was a super chunky braid … this was certainly a statement look for the star! Alexandra’s hair was kept sleek as it was swept back into the braid and it looked UBER thick. This is an on-trend look for the summer as braids and plaits are huuuuge! And the thicker the better, we think. :) The ends of Alexandra’s hair had a slight ombre effect which looked pretty cool for her long braid. It’s a shame we weren’t so fond of her outfit choice for the T4 appearance … it was a little bit tablecloth-esque. :/

Little Mix looked oh-so-gorgeous for their T4 appearance and we were loving their celebrity hairstyles too! All of the ladies left their hair long and loose with natural movement … perfect for the beachy feel! Perrie’s celebrity hairstyle was probably our fave as her blonde locks were styled with voluminous, natural waves. It looked awesome with her rocky outfit. Leigh-Anne’s hair was worn big and bold with looots of bounce and both Jade and Jesy wore their hair super long and waved. We were LOVING the length of Jesy’s hair and of course, the sultry red shade of Jade’s celebrity hairstyle. You can style your own locks with a conical wand to re-create these beachy waves. Good job girlies. :)

Rita Ora’s celebrity hairstyle for T4 on the Beach was left loose with LOADS of curl and bounce! A large barrelled tong would be best for re-creating Rita’s sexy curls! For her performance, Rita wore a blue and white striped catsuit … we’re not so sure we’re hot on this look, but it certainly showed off her fabulous figure. :)
