Shade Adapt

The beauty with Head Kandy extensions is the multi tone shade adapt that happens when you clip in your new hair.  Multi tones enable a perfect match even if your shade is slightly different.  Just choose the closest match and your extensions will blend and adapt to your own hair.

The hair is sectioned and clipped away.  The extension strip is clipped into place.

Each clip is pressure sensitive to prevent slipping.  Just snap it into place.

Your clip on hair extension questions answered!

Is it possible to fit the clip in hair myself?

Yes, its very easy.  You will receive full fitting instructions and it takes just minuets to fit them.

Can my hair extensions be straightened?

Yes as often as you like!  Clip in hair extensions are made with human hair.  It is best to use a styling holder to straighten, curl and perfect your hair extensions style before fitting them to your head.

How are the hair extensions attached?

The hair extensions are made of strips of real human hair , each strip is a specific size and has micro clips already attached to them.  The clips are pressure sensitive and clipped into the hair between sections.  This ensures they are hidden, secure and natural looking.

How often can I wear my extensions?

As often as you like, just remember to take them out before sleeping to prolong their life.  The clip ins can last up anything from 6 months to a year depending on how often you wear them.

Are the clip ins easy to look after?

Very easy!  Simply spritz some maintenance spray onto the ends of the extensions after each use.

Will people be able to see if I am wearing hair extensions?

The beauty of clip in extensions is the natural look that can be achieved with them.  Once fitted they are a perfect blend with your own hair.

Ok, so he’s seen you before looking your fabulous best, of course he knows nothing of the effort you’ve put into looking the way you do. It’s an unwritten rule when it comes to clip in hair extensions to ensure that men never see us clip, glue or tape our locks onto our humble heads! Tonight however could prove difficult, tonight you know you’re likely to be sharing that sexy first kiss in fact you’re counting on it but you know that if it’s going to be any good then you’re going to need some passion and intensity but aaaaaaaaaah!! That means he’s going to run his fingers through your hair which also means he is going to feel your clip in hair extensions!! May Day, May Day!!! Now for the sake of your social and potential love life you’re not about to turn down the opportunity of a nice date and a hot kiss because of your vanity so you go and just hope for the best. After a lovely evening, that moment is fast approaching, you’re hearts beating as he leans in, then fireworks as you kiss but noooo, dilemma, just as you had anticipated his hands are heading towards your hair extensions! So, you try to distract him, you hold his hand and toss your head, you’re panicking, you don’t want this to ruin the moment but then here’s the question, would he actually notice? Am I worrying about nothing? I remember my friend Darren, straight but a platonic friend. He saw me first thing in the morning, hair like Owen Wilson and not a scrap of make up. Then as I emerged from the bedroom a good half an hour later after I’d washed and scrubbed up, fresh face of make-up and hair at least 18 inches longer and considerably thicker, he claims to notice no difference!! Joy!! So men are simple creatures that don’t notice all our imperfections, great!! But then in that case, why do we bother? Whether the men notice or not, we do!
